Special Kitchen Features that Sell
It is said the heart of a home is the kitchen. With that in-mind, we put forth some of the most highly desired features in our kitchens. Open floor plans combine the kitchen and great room along with a dining area. In the kitchen you will find LVP flooring (Luxury Vinyl Planks) which is one of the top selling flooring options for kitchens. LVP flooring is water resistant, impact resistant, and lasts for years. The kitchen countertops are made with a beautiful piece of granite. Granite is natural stone that has less upkeep and is far more durable than marble and yet has the same beauty. All kitchens are also equipped with energy efficient stainless steel appliances, currently one of the top sold appliances in the nation. Some additional features in the kitchen are a large pantry, garbage disposal, kitchen islands and so much more.
Luxury Bathroom Features
Throughout the home you will find full and half style bathrooms. In the bathrooms you will find Moen faucet fixtures. Once again, we install granite countertops and LVP flooring. The bathrooms have 36” vanities and double vanities in the master bathroom for a his and hers dedicated space. In the master bathroom you will have LED recessed lights over the master bathtub and in the shower. Each floor plan varies on bathroom spacing and additional features.
Master & Other Bedroom Features
All of the bedrooms have plenty of space. Floor plans vary. You will find some plans with two walk-in closets that allow plenty of space to be shared. The master bedroom connects to the master bathroom and has its own walk-in closet. The master bedroom has two USB ports for convenient charging stations. Bedrooms are often carpeted with an upgraded 8 lb. carpet padding for insulation and comfort.
Other House Features
When designing our homes, we use 2×6 exterior walls versus the typical 2×4 walls which provide better insulation and energy efficiency. The walls are painted in a pleasant gray color with white trim. Nickel Light fixtures are used throughout the home as well as nickel hinges and hardware. LED recessed lights are also used throughout the home, mainly in the kitchen, stairwells, and in the bathrooms. The garages all have finished walls and use automatic garage doors. Craftsman style covered porches are often seen in our homes, which provide an outdoor sitting area. We provide the option for a finished or unfinished basement. As a basement’s purpose varies, our finished basement designs include a full bathroom and wet bar. Our homes also include a 1 year builder’s warranty and 10 year structural warranty.
